1. Project Agreement and Scope

All renovation work requires a fully executed, written Project Agreement outlining the scope of work (SOW), materials specifications, timelines, and deliverables. Any change, addition, or omission to the agreed scope must be documented through a formal Change Order signed by both parties prior to execution.

2. Payment Protocol (Milestones)

Clients agree to the milestone-based payment schedule defined in the contract. Payments are due upon completion of each project phase and are subject to client inspection and approval. Delayed payments may result in project suspension or rescheduling.

3. Warranty and Liability

Better Home Life Style provides a standard two-year warranty on workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, acts of nature, or defects arising from client-supplied materials or undisclosed pre-existing structural conditions.

4. Permits, Codes, and Inspections

All work will be performed in accordance with applicable building codes and local regulations. Required permits and inspections will be coordinated as part of the project unless otherwise stated in the agreement. Delays caused by permitting authorities are outside our control.

5. Project Timeline and Delays

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, labor constraints, or unforeseen site conditions. Better Home Life Style shall not be held liable for reasonable delays beyond its direct control.

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing timely access to the property, securing valuables, and ensuring a safe work environment. Failure to meet these obligations may result in schedule adjustments or additional costs.

7. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement in accordance with the terms specified in the contract. In the event of cancellation, the client agrees to compensate for work completed, materials ordered, and administrative costs incurred up to the termination date.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, BIM models, and project documentation remain the intellectual property of Better Home Life Style unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Better Home Life Style shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the project or use of provided services.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the project is performed.
